Reporter gives encouraging fitness update on key Celtic duo

ALISON CONROY of Clyde Superscoreboard has confirmed that Albian Ajeti will be fit for tomorrow’s game against Rangers. The reporter also has said that Odsonne Edouard is back at Lennoxtown and is being assessed ahead of the fixture.

Odsonne Edouard was the first confirmed case while on France U21 duty. Ryan Christie tested negative but was identified as a close contact to ex-Celt Stuart Armstrong meaning he has to self isolate for 14 days. Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed have been struck by the virus whilst on Israel duty.

However Conroy has confirmed he is back with Celtic and will undergo a fitness test to determine if he is fit enough to play. One man that is fit is Swiss striker Albian Ajeti who scored against Hibs then injured himself.

Since joining Celtic for £4.5m from West Ham, Ajeti has rejuvenated his stalling career. The attacker has scored six goals since joining the club and the supporters have been excited at the prospect of pairing him with Odsonne Edouard in attack – hopefully we can see that on Saturday.
