Celtic supporters attending this weekend’s Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden Park will benefit from enhanced travel options, as ScotRail has announced additional trains and more seating to accommodate the influx of fans heading to and from the national stadium…

ScotRail to increase services between Glasgow Central and Mount Florida
ScotRail will increase services between Glasgow Central and Mount Florida on both Saturday and Sunday to help manage the anticipated match-day crowds for the high-profile semi-final fixtures.
The semi-final weekend will begin on Saturday, 19 April, with Hearts facing Aberdeen at 12:30pm. On Sunday, St Johnstone will meet defending cup holders Celtic, with the match set to start at 3:00pm. A huge Celtic support will fill the vast majority of the National stadium with around 5000 supporters travelling down from Perth to support St Johnstone.

Designated queuing systems will be implemented
To handle the expected crowds, designated queuing systems will be implemented at both Glasgow Central and Mount Florida throughout the weekend. On Sunday, supporters of both St Johnstone and Celtic are recommended to use Mount Florida for travel both before and after the game.
