The Celtic Star is proud to support and encourage the Celtic Academy and indeed the Celtic FC Women’s team. One of the activities we are taking part in is to provide some early media coverage for the young Hoops heroes of tomorrow. So far this year we’ve featured the likes of Ben Doak on 16 January, Dylan Corr on 28 January and Lenny Agbaire on 13 February.

How long have you been part of the Academy? Nine years.
What is your preferred position? Striker.

All-time favourite Celtic player and why? Henrik Larsson, due to the amount of goals he scored for the club
All-time favourite non-Celtic player and why? Close call between either of the Ronaldo’s, R9 & CR7. Both unbelievable players and goal scorers.
Three things you are good at other than football? Gaming, basketball and table tennis.
How would you celebrate your first goal for the first team? Knee slide in front of the fans.
The most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done or worn is? When I broke Caleb Goldie’s TV, PS and Printer and put a hole in the wall!
Describe your favourite kind of music and recommend a song for us to enjoy? Rap music. Youngboy NBA, especially his new album Sincerely, Kentrell.

Who has been the biggest influence on your playing career? My dad because he has taught me everything I know.
Describe playing for Celtic in three words? Magical, opportunities, tough
Thanks to young Lewis, keep an eye on his progress in the Under 18s and also as a star in the making in Tommy McIntyre’s Celtic B team next season…
You can do your bit to support the Celtic Academy via Celtic Pools where all profits are ploughed back into the Celtic Academy to develop the Hoops Heroes of the future. More young Celtic stars will be put under our spotlight in the weeks ahead…
