‘The Brazen Header’ – Brilliantly captured on Celtic TV’s Unique Angle

‘The Brazen Header’ was perhaps the headline of the day referring to yesterday Scottish Cup semi-final goalscorer’s rather unexpected appearance at The Brazen Head Celtic bar earlier in the week as he got himself in the mood for the match that ended theRangers season and put Celtic on course for a record breaking eighth Treble when the Hoops return to Hampden on 3rd June to take on Championship side Inverness Caley Thistle in the 2023 Scottish Cup Final.

Celtic TV’s Unique Ange captures the goal brilliantly as at least half a dozen of theRangers players sleep through the moment when the referee Don Robertson decides against awarding Celtic a free kick, much to the surprise of theRangers kippers.

One man who never stops, and may never sleep for all we know, is Daizen Maeda and his assist is sensational as is the Portuguese superstar who leaves the Ibrox captain dosing as he moves in on the header that gave him his second successive winner in Glasgow Derby matches and will have caused wild celebrations in the Brazen Head with the party going on all night.

  1. Expected as it was yesterday, beating the smaller club from Glasgow did not give us a treble! It has however given us an opportunity to do what no other club in World Football has before, and win an eighth treble, another clean sweep of domestic dominance.
But it is NOT a foregone conclusion by any means!
Every game we play in Scotland gives our lesser opponents a giant killing opportunity. Yesterday was no different. The smaller clubs like yesterday’s opponents and the opponents we face EVERY week, want to be giant killers.
Let’s not forget what underestimating opponents can do!
We watched the game yesterday, as well as last week against Motherwell and every game this season, when all opponents need to do is hit the deck when they lose possession to Celtic and the refs give them free kicks all day long. We watch brutal tackles on our players be ignored. So make no mistake, the corruption that is within the sfa/spfl walls will be meeting a few times prior to the Cup Final on June 3, to be as prepared as they can be to inflict defeat upon Celtic’s treble hopes and chances.
Remember, it’s May 1st today and we have won ONE trophy. The other two have still to be won!
We got past one attempt at giant killing by the new team yesterday, but Caley have absolutely NOTHING to lose and EVERYTHING to gain in the final!
They will also have, like EVERY team we play week after week, the total backing of the sfa/spfl who we KNOW do not want us to win a treble again!
We know that refs will use VAR in every possible way to scrutinize every detail they can if they think it can penalize us.
