Transfer Agreed! Bayo signs four year Celtic contract

CELTIC this afternoon confirmed the news that The Celtic Star broke at the weekend – – the signing of Vakoun Issouf Bayo.

The striker has joined the club on a four-year deal from Slovakian side, Dunajská Streda. The deal is subject to a work permit and a medical.

The 21-year-old Ivory Coast forward joined Dunajská Streda in March last year, having previously spent two years playing in Tunisia.

And the highly-rated striker has been in exceptional form since moving to Slovakia, scoring 18 goals in 23 games this season, as well as seven assists, helping his team into second place in the top division.

Welcome to Celtic Vakoun!
