Someone described this as a workman-like win and it’s true that the more flowing, glamour football on display in both the 6-0 wins over Dundee and St Mirren was missing yesterday in the 3-0 win over Ross County. Mitigating circumstances can be listed, the injury to Kyogo, adapting from the departures in the transfer window with both hitherto first pick striker Edouard and Griffiths leaving the club.
