Video: Celtic, wearing the Hoops, hit Hamilton for six

There was no Unique Angle yesterday as Celtic drew a blank at Paisley and in truth never looked like scoring all afternoon, wearing that dreadful kit that should now be binned.

However it was a different story for the 100% Hoops over at Airdrie’s Excelsior Stadium where Fran Alonso’s side faced Hamilton in the latest SWPL1 match, wore the Hoops and made sure that their own 100% start to the season was maintained as five different scorers netted the six goals for the double cup winners, to maintain their position alongside theRangers and Glasgow City at the top of the table, each having played five and won five.

Next up for Celtic is a trip to Aberdeen this Sunday in what will be a tricky away fixture. After the 6-0 win over Hamilton, Fran Alonso’s thoughts turned to the next game. “It’s very important that we focus on Aberdeen,” he told Colette Carr, as reported on The Celtic Star.

“That’s the next game so it’s the only game that we shoud think about. It’s not going to be easy. It’s a long trip away, so we will work all week, work hard and make sure that we are put on another professional display like we have done today.”

Enjoy the Celtic goals from the weekend and of course the team playing in the Hoops. Third kits are garbage.
