On this day in 2016, Celtic comfortably defeated Hamilton Accies by three goals to nil. We would certainly welcome a repeat of that result on Boxing Day!
Leigh Griffiths opened the scoring just before half time, netting his fifth goal against Hamilton in as many games. Callum McGregor was then handed a rare, yet dubious, red card for a challenge in the opening stages of the second half. It mattered little though as Stuart Armstrong rifled an incredible strike into the top corner, before Moussa Dembele tapped home just his first goal in seven games to make sure of things.
