Video: Watch Hoops train at Lennoxtown ahead of Hearts clash

Celtic have been on quite the purple patch at present and we have an opportunity tomorrow night at Celtic Park to stretch our unbeaten lead and points advantage. For tomorrow evening our main title rivals, theRangers are heading to Edinburgh to take on Lee Johnson’s Hibernian side at Easter Road.

The potential for dropped points is a real possibility from Mick Beale’s team, As they have been shy of confidence and looking pretty ropey at times lately. The League Cup Final defeat against Ange and the Bhoys a couple of weeks ago has the tension on a knife edge with the Ibrox fanbase, and as former Celtic star, Kris Commons has already said, one bad result could see an implosion over there.

But firstly, Ange Postecoglou’s men need to take care of Heart of Midlothian at Parkhead before any such scenario like that could begin to take shape. We’re looking good with that nine-point advantage at the summit of the Scottish Premiership but we must keep on putting our foot to the floor and give our enemies no respite.

We never stop has been the mantra since Ange Postecoglou walked through the hallowed gates in Glasgow’s East End, and he doesn’t look like abandoning that now – as fans of the newest Ibrox club can attest to. Tomorrow we must take care of business and keep on the hunt for another League title this year.

The Hoops trained at Lennoxtown today in preparation for the visit of Robbie Neilson’s side and will be wanting to lay down the gauntlet ahead of facing them in the Scottish Cup Quarter-final match up at Tyncastle this weekend. It’s a chance to show third place why they won’t get anywhere near us as a team or club for that matter, despite the constant shouting about splitting the big two.

About Author

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
