SCOTT BROWN was awarded the Man of the Match by the sponsors and the skipper was his usual dominant self. We’d have given it to Jerry Toljan, who was making his home debut at Celtic Park and built up an excellent relationship with Timo Weah down the right hand side.

By the second half when they were combining down in front of the North Stand they had got onto each other’s wavelength and added real quality to the Celtic attacks.
