Brendan Rodgers – Watch today’s Media Conference

BRENDAN RODGERS spoke to the media earlier today and provided an update on the Tom Rogic injuries to his hand and knee. The manager revealed that the Australia does NOT need an operation on the former but unfortunately has to go under the knife to sort a problem with the latter.

The manager talked through where the club is as it comes through the transfer window and gives some background to the Jeremy Toljan transfer which was completed late last night. It seems that Toljan has accepted a cut in wages in order to wear the Hoops.

While Brendan regards Toljan as a right sided version of Kieran Tierney – now that’s exciting – he was also quick to praise the contribution of Mikael Lustig and noted his double assists in the last two matches. What more is really expected of him from the ‘Lustig is done’ camp?

Here’s what Brendan had to say today…

And here’s some reaction via a few comments from the You Tube page worth noting…

“Been a good window. Advantage Celtic for another gr8t season. BR looks genuinely confident.”

“Love the press conferences being uploaded on You Tube.”

“Overall happy, anxious for the Europa League game, will be very hard but should be a good game. Believe we still have alot of dead weight at the club at least 8 players come to mind that we could move on and save the wage budget.”

“A completely class act is Brendan Rodgers.”

“Does anyone think Scott Brown could do a job for us as centre back?”
