Greg Taylor to theRangers is nothing but nonsense. He’s looking to advance his career, not let it slide and certainly doesn’t need the hassle that it would involve…

With the summer transfer window a couple of months away from opening, we are starting to hear of rumours, some with a hint of substance, whilst some others are nothing short of complete fabrication. One of those such rumours in the fabrication category that has surfaced in the last week or so regarding Celtic left-back Greg Taylor.
Greg Taylor likely to leave Celtic in the summer
Greg Taylor as we know will most likely be leaving when his deal expires in the summer, and he’s been linked with a move to Dinamo Zagreb in recent months. However a rumour has surfaced on social media and has started to grow legs concerning Greg’s next stop in his career.

As you probably already know Greg Taylor has been linked to our Glasgow rivals theRangers. It’s a rumour that’s gained everyone’s attention I’ll give you that, but I can confidently state that I believe it be nothing short of complete and utter nonsense.
Taylor has achieved everything possible playing for Celtic
Greg has achieved everything playing in Scotland with Celtic, he wants to try new things and broaden his horizons, perhaps abroad or maybe even head down south. The Celtic player is looking very much to advance his career and international ambitions, not trying to let it slide, and if he did decide to take the plunge and head over to Govan, his career would I reckon go backwards rather than forward and maybe it would go into free fall.

Greg is a level headed young man who is not long married and has just became a father. He wouldn’t want to make himself a magnet in the goldfish bowl of Glasgow. Every mistake he’d make would have the horribles on his back casting up his time at Celtic.
Safely file this rumour under the complete nonsense category
I think we can safely file this rumour under the complete nonsense category but I suppose stranger things have happened. Greg after a short spell out of the Celtic side, is perhaps likely to start in Saturday against his former club Kilmarnock as Celtic look to edge closer to the title.

One last attempt from Brendan Rodgers
That will give him the opportunity to make the left-back slot his own until the end of the season and perhaps to encourage Brendan Rodgers to make one final attempt at convincing Taylor to stay at Celtic. Grass isn’t always greener Greg.
