Hearts v Celtic to be shown live on Sky Sports on 26 January

As we look ahead to the January Glasgow Derby fixture, there is more news on the fixture list in terms of the first month of the year. Celtic face their second trip of the season to Tyncastle on 26 January which is pencilled in for a 7.45pm kick-off time. Now however, the game will be shown live on Sky Sports Football.

Celtic will be looking for revenge when they head to Edinburgh in late January as the game back in August saw us robbed by the Gorgie outfit. Celtic pounded Hearts for long spells in the game and were undone by really poor defending on the night, leaving us potless after controlling most of the match.

The ‘marginally offside’ Honest Mistake the last time Celtic were at Tynecastle

We have been absolutely robbed blindly this season by Sky Sports and the footballing authorities who seem to have no compunction showing theRangers like clockwork but leave Celtic supporters out of pocket because they have to buy subscriptions on Pay-Per-View to watch away games. The scheduling of our matches have been unfair to say the least this season and should not be allowed to continue unchallenged.

This is where the Celtic Board have been remiss in their duties in just one of a number of ways for the past while now. Why should it be the Celtic Support that continually suffer because of Sky Sports’ ridiculous scheduling agenda? It’s not acceptable and the Celtic hierarchy should be making it clear to the broadcaster it isn’t so. But then again, plastic dolls can’t really speak, can they?

Anyway, Celtic v Hearts at Tyncastle on 26 January will be available to watch for Celtic fans on Sky Sports Football. Once again, it’s a 7.45pm kick-off time so mark it in your diaries folks.

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
