Photo: Celtic full-back gives update following surgery

Celtic’s Greg Taylor updated supporters after undergoing surgery on his shoulder. The left-back was forced off against AZ Alkmaar last month but returned for the win over Ross County, only to be subbed off again with the recurrence of this injury.

Now, the 23-year-old took to Instagram to update supporters that the surgery was a success and that he would begin working back towards full fitness in order to fight for his place in Ange Postecoglou’s team.

Taylor’s absence has resulted in Josip Juranovic playing at left-back against Real Betis and Boli Bolingoli returning from the Celtic fringes to start in the defeat to Livingston. Taylor is amongst a few Celtic first team players that missed the defeat to Livi and Ange Postecoglou can ill-afford any more dropped points before the end of the season.
