Academy Players under The Celtic Star Spotlight – Joe Morrison, Under 18, Celtic B Squad

This year The Celtic Star is helping the Celtic Academy provide early media exposure to the young stars of the future and hopefully help see them on their way to a successful career in the game playing for the Celtic first team.

Our first feature back in January maybe went too well as we featured Ben Doak only for that to propel him into Ange Postecoglou’s first team plans, making his debut against Dundee United then coming on in that never to be forgotten Glasgow Derby on 2 February when Celtic won 3-0 to go top of the league looking down on theRangers

We suspect that the praise dished out in that initial Academy Spotlight article was perhaps a bit OTT, certainly as far as Celtic was concerned as it seemed to attract the attention of Liverpool – now on the cusp of reaching the Champions League final – and they promptly poached the young Celtic talent, who will probably end up on the bench in that final, get on for the last few minutes and walk way with yet another brilliant memory.

Won’t top that Glasgow Derby mauling though!

Anyway turn it down a bit might have been the message from the corridor of power at Celtic Park as we pressed on regardless in featuring some of the best talent coming through the Academy system at Celtic. All joking aside, players like Dylan Corr (see below) and  Lenny Agbaire,

We’ve also featured other top Celtic Academy talents such as Lewis Dobbie (see below) and several others which we’ll give you links to at the bottom.

Today we’re featuring Joe Morrison and there’s a bit of a technical problem in that the pre-submitted questions aren’t really suited to goalkeepers.  Admirably young Joe presses on regardless and you never know he might end up scoring in a penalty shoot out for Celtic just like Artur Boruc….
