Dubliner Jonny Hayes’ Beautiful Sunday, live at the home of the Tribute Act

WATCH Celtic’s brilliant win at Ibrox yesterday to the sound of Daniel Boone’s Beautiful Sunday. Sings along and enjoy folks!

Then there’s Celtic TV’s Unique Angle footage from yesterday’s Beautiful Sunday, always enjoyable to watch but extra special when we beat THEM and very more so when we win THERE…

“Celtic sent a clear and resounding message to title challengers Rangers with a dominant 2-0 victory at Ibrox. The Hoops continued their 100% winning start to the season with an impressive performance full of quality in both attack and defence.

“Odsonne Edouard put the champions ahead in the first half with a typical cool finish and Jonny Hayes killed off the game in added time with the second,” Celtic TV slated.

And it was particularly nice for Jonny Hayes to get that brilliant counter attacking second goal deep into time added on, and then watch him run towards the 800 Celtic Supporters, it was pure undiluted joy from the support and Jonny looked slightly embarrassed at the amazing reception he received.

He spoke to Celtic TV after the game.

Some of the comments below this video…”100% commitment every time from Jonny Hayes. Great guy to have in the squad.”

“I love this guy, as mentioned he gives 100% from day one. I was fortunate to be at Parkhead the day after he signed and got a picture with him, first class all the way. Well done Jonny.”

“Johnny Johnny Hayes. What a man. Was class when he came on and got the one, talk about a super sub.”

“Jonny Hayes so committed, very honest man. Remember that leg break in Dundee and the journey he’s been on to get here. As an Irishman, I’m very very proud of him.”

“Goal that ended the game, as usual talking was done on the park.”

“Celtic’s fitness is superb their skill is unmatched in the league they play as a team with controlled passion just poetry in motion.”

“Jonny Hayes just enjoys what he’s doing and in all honesty, is better than just warming the bench. He may not be a Celtic starter, but he does love the club, and his football.”

“Well played Jonny. Good to see you getting game time. Thought you were the top player under Lennon at the end of last season.”

“Always ready to step in when needed Jonny. I think the guy could play many positions he’s so versatile.”

“Jonny Jonny Hayes, Jonny Hayes, Jonny Jonny Hayes…..Well done lad, the zombies ran scared again.”

“Love Jonny. He’s standing there talking like a MANAGER post match.”

“Great attitude and so humble, we’re lucky to have you.”

“As hard a worker as you’ll find on our squad. He’ll just love scoring against that lot especially at their own midden. More goals now in Glasgow Derbies than Morelos.”

“Just another ground ticked off for me”. Love that Jonny Hayes. Quality my man. That mob deserve no more respect than Hibs, Hearts, Aberdeen etc.”

“Legend wee Jonny, I’m an Aberdeen fan but he was my favourite player for us for a very long time that I can remember. Class guy and class player, good to see him doing well at Celtic and skelping hehe.”
