Taylor Fee Agreed as Henderson heads to Highlands

CELTIC have agreed a fee for Scotland International Greg Taylor. The 21-year-old, who was training with Scotland today in Edinburgh, is expected at Celtic Park to agree personal terms and finalise the deal.

And it looks like the two boys from the big Manchester sides look like joining Taylor in the Hoops before midnight.

It is believed that the fee is in excess of £2 million, considerably more than has previously been offered to Kilmarnock. However, there will be no swap deals as it is believed that the deal hit a snag due to this and the clubs were determined to work through a deal to get Taylor in the Hoops.

It remains to be seen whether Jack Hendry or Calvin Miller will head to Ayrshire in a separate deal but it won’t have any impact on Taylor becoming a Celtic player this season.

Meanwhile, Ewan Henderson has swapped Glasgow for Dingwall as the youngster joins Ross County on a season long loan. It was expected that Henderson would leave to get the development required to break into the first team after glimpses of his talents exhibited the attributes of a potential top player in the future.
