Celtic v Motherwell: team news, KO time and where to watch

Celtic return to domestic action today as Motherwell visit Paradise. The North Lanarkshire club will be hoping to create the same problems for Celtic that their former manager Stephen Robinson did for St Mirren before the international break. However, Ange Postecoglou will be hoping his Scottish Champions can bounce back in emphatic fashion.

Team News

There had been some chatter during the international break that Celtic had been hit by a number of injuries but it would appear that Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt and Giorgos Giakoumakis will be out.

Sead Haksabanovic, Daizen Maeda and David Turnbull were all doubts but the manager confirmed that the players would be fit after getting over injury concerns.

Joe Hart will start in goals. A back line will need to consist of Josip Juranovic, Moritz Jenz, Stephen Welsh and Greg Taylor. You’d imagine then that the manager would play is preferred three of Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley.

Then in attack, Kyogo will lead the line with Jota and Liel Abada giving support out wide.

Kick-Off Time

The game will kick off at 3pm. Celtic Park time.

Where to Watch

The game will not be shown on TV but Celtic supporters outside Britain & Ireland will be able to watch on Celtic TV.
