Australia win dramatic penalty shoot out against Uzbekistan

AUSTRALIA have won a dramatic penalty shoot out against Uzbekistan in the Asian Cup this afternoon. The Socceroos held their nerve to win the shoot-out by 4-2.

Celtic’s Tom Rogic was substituted after 111 minutes so did not take part in the penalty shoot-out. We all remember what happened the last time the Wizard of Oz was involved in a shoot out!

Today’s win after the game finished 0-0 means that Australia will move forward to the quarter finals of the Asian Cup at the end of this week.
